EFT- Emotional Freedom Technique

Emotional Freedom Technique, EFT, is sometimes referred to as “tapping” and has also been referred to as Mind – Body medicine and Energy Medicine. Over the years, it has become widely recognized for the simple reason that it works! The physical body has meridians or channel like pathways running throughout. These energetic pathways or meridians can become energetically blocked. An example of this is a feeling of being “overwhelmed” or stressed with day to day events. EFT works within the energy system, or our emotional body. The ancient Chinese and Indian healers were very familiar with and understood the subtle energies of the body. Something that slowly the west is coming to understand and accept. Using the hands and fingertips, tapping on certain points of the body helps to relieve emotional issues.

In my years as a Hypnotist, working with and teaching clients to use EFT, I have seen it help them overcome fears, cravings, phobias, anxiety, stress, feelings of inadequacy, feelings of sadness, feelings of loneliness. The list could go on, I am naming the ones that come immediately to mind. My conclusion is the same as many people who have used and taught EFT, there is almost nothing, no emotional issue that EFT can not help!
